THE MEETING WITH HON’BLE PRESIDENT OF INDIA


I had never thought that this big day of 18th Dec 2008 will be included in my life span.Meeting first woman president of my country was really like achieving a milestone.

We were privileged to visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and there we got the opportunity
to visit Dharbar Hall,Ashoka Hall ,Museum,ChildrensGallery ,Mughal Gardens etc.
The beauty and ambience of Rashthpati Bhawan made me realise that if there is heaven on the Earth,then it is here .
The discipline and the protocol followed by every individual there makes one feel as a proud citizen of India.
It was of great pleasure for me in fact “a dream come true” to meet first citizen of India i.e. President Smt. Pratiba Devi Singh Patil.
I along with the Principal of our school and other members got an opportunity to meet the President .My excitement got added by the fact
India, having population more than hundred crore has a suitable head who reflects the ability, perfection and magnanimity not only of her character but our country also.
We had a brief conversation with the Hon’ble President. She spoke on various subjects
and the piece of advice she gave, I feel will be guidelines for our future.
Her words inspired me which will be a treasure for me throughout my life.
I feel highly obliged to my authorities which gave me an opportunity to meet the Hon’ble President of India.
